Hotstart Cords

To complete the assembly of a Hotstart heating system and ensure efficient energy use, Hotstart manufactures a wide variety of power and thermostat cords.

Power cords are available in different lengths and come with or without a plug. Several plug configurations are available, including standard U.S. electrical plugs (NEMA 5-15 and NEMA 5-20), European Schuko plugs, and flush-mount kits with a recessed male receptacle.

Hotstart Thermocords are designed specifically for in-block heaters and are compatible not only with Hotstart heaters but also with engine heaters manufactured by other companies. Thermocords are available with or without thermostats and come in a range of lengths with a variety of plug options. Models equipped with a thermostat reduce idle heating by monitoring the temperature and allowing the heater to operate only when it is needed.
