Collection: Hotstart In-Block Heaters

Hotstart's In-Block heaters are immersive push-in, thread-in, and plate-type heaters designed to be installed directly into the water jacket of the engine block. These in-block heaters are CSA approved and available for most leading makes and models of heavy-duty truck engines such as Caterpillar, Cummins, Detroit Diesel, John Deere, Mack, Navistar / International, and others.

Hotstart offers selection tool that allows to chose the correct heater based on engine manufacturer and model.

Using an engine heater can reduce engine wear due to cold starts by up to 50%. Also, it reduces idling and cranking time, saving fuel and increasing battery life.

Hotstart in-block heaters come with a power cord and a plug. Standard cord is a 2-wire with ground 6 feet (1.8m) HPT power cord. It can be replaced with a cord of other length or an energy-saving Y-thermocord assembly that includes a remote thermostat. The thermostats are available for 80-100F, 100-120F, 120-140F temperature ranges. If you decide to order an in-block heater and a Y-thermocord, chose a part number with -WOC suffix to indicate that no standard cord needed.

Other accessories available for in-block heaters are flush-mount kits, heat shields, recessed male receptacles, and plugs of different styles.
