3000W (3kW) 240V 1P (1 phase) Hotstart E-series hazardous location industrial immersion heater with a 40-60F thermostat, 12 in (305 mm) probe, and special custom design fitting.

This engine heater is designed for heating diesel fuel, coolant mix, lubrication oil, and hydraulic oil. It is suitable for engines with 100-150 gal (378-568 L) oil capacity.

On applications where level of fluid is subject to change, a liquid level switch mounted a minimum of 3-4 in (76-102 mm) above the element is recommended. Liquid level switch is sold separatedly.

For a proper installation, this signle-phase oil and coolant heater requires a contactor if the thermostat’s amperage limit is exceeded and a control transformer if the thermostat’s voltage limit is exceeded.
