9000W (9kW) 240V 1P (1 phase) Hotstart E-series hazardous location industrial immersion heater with a 140-160F thermostat, 30 in (762 mm) probe, and 2 in NPT thread fitting.

This engine heater is designed for heating diesel fuel, coolant mix, lubrication oil, and hydraulic oil. It is suitable for engines with 300-450 gal (1136-1703 L) oil capacity.

On applications where level of fluid is subject to change, a liquid level switch mounted a minimum of 3-4 in (76-102 mm) above the element is recommended. Liquid level switch is sold separatedly.

For a proper installation, this signle-phase oil and coolant heater requires a contactor if the thermostat’s amperage limit is exceeded and a control transformer if the thermostat’s voltage limit is exceeded.
