Collection: Hotstart E-Series Industrial Immersion Heaters

Hotstart E-Series Industrial Immersion Heaters are designed to heat a wide range of critical fluids for engines and equipment. Preheating hydraulic fluid and other vital liquids prevents gelling and eliminates condensation. 

E0 model engine heaters come in two different modifications: 

• Weathertight Industrial Immersion Heater; 
• Hazardous Location Industrial Immersion Heaters.

Weathertight Industrial Immersion Heaters are E models that have "W" in their part number, for example: E0101W-156A-00. They can heat liquids such as lube oil, hydraulic fluid, water, antifreeze, asphalt, and other. Weathertight E0 models are CSA C/US or CE approved. Weathertight heaters are NOT intended for hazardous locations! 

Hazardous Location Industrial Immersion Heaters are E models that have "E" in their part number, for example: E0101E-156A-00. They can heat lube oil, hydraulic fluid, water, antifreeze, and asphalt, but also diesel fuel and other petroleum liquids. Hazardous location models are IECEx approved for use in hazardous environments.

Both types of E-series heating elements (weathertight heaters and hazardous location heaters) are available in different fitting styles such as 2-inch NPT and threadless V-clamp design. 

Most of E-series immersion heaters are equipped with a fixed-setting thermostat. Popular fixed-setting thermostat ranges are: 80-100F, 100-120F, and 120-140F. At that, models with other thermostat ranges are also available to purchase as well as models with adjustable thermostat.
